This bedroom wall art piece will give your boudoir that gentle whisper of serenity you've been missing. The image features the word "dream" in a whimsical font but can be personalized with a word or name of your choice. The text is surrounded by clouds, stars, and a crescent moon which has been exquisitely embellished with paper quilling strips using paper quilling techniques. This lovely piece would be fitting as a 1st anniversary gift of paper or 2nd anniversary gift of cotton, as the moon is embellished with paper and canvas used is made from cotton. The image is created using gel medium transfer of ink from paper to canvas. Due to the unpredictability of gel transfers, the image has imperfections and an overall distressed look around the edges, adding character to the piece. It was made with care and will add a bit of wow to your wall. This piece is unframed.

Quilling is also known as paper filigree. It is an ancient art form that involves curling, rolling, looping, scrolling and coiling thin strips of paper into various shapes for decorative and artistic purposes.
